Tom Foco, Senior Advisor

As a Plant Manager, Supply Chain Manager, VP of Operations / Engineering, Management Accountant and Lean Consultant, Tom has had the opportunity “to see” many organizations in a variety of industries.  Tom’s 30+ years of experience began with Fortune 50 electronics firms. 


His experience and clientele include product assembly, composites fabrication, metal fabrication, aircraft manufacturing, construction management, retail service, food service, food production, software development, call center management, secure logistics, medical patient flow, medical revenue cycle operations, pharmaceutical production, supply chain management, leadership development, strategy deployment and many business processes. 


Tom’s background includes high volume process flow, low volume-high mix product management, reducing time to market in engineering development and business process re-engineering.  His adeptness in employee development spans a range from conducting work area improvement to updating the Board of Directors; this provides him with the attentiveness needed to establish a comfortable rapport with teaching the people who do the work or coaching the executive manager. 


Tom is on the faculty of the Lean Enterprise Institute, coaching Value Stream Mapping for Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping for Office Services and  A3 Thinking/ Structured Problem Solving.  Tom facilitates the development and implementation of plans for organizational lean transformation working through Lean Business Management, LeanCor Supply Chain Group, Value Stream Solutions LLC and Aperture Business Advisors.
